The duties and responsibilities of TSC teachers include
Teaching the subjects of specialization and imparting knowledge, skills, and attitude to the learner.
Evaluating the learners in subjects of specialization and preparing learners for national and other examinations.
Introducing new ideas and programs for improvement in teaching and learning in subjects of specialization.
Ensuring safety and health for learners.
Ensuring cleanliness of the school compound and tidiness of learners.
Ensuring consistency and improvement in curriculum delivery through teamwork and collaboration planning.
Supervising new teacher and TTC students during their practice at the school.
Counselling pupils in education and career, and personal issues.
Teaching and paying special attention to pupils with physical and learning disabilities.
Acting as Form Teacher (secondary schools), i.e. looking after the classrooms.
