An examiner has died while invigilating the ongoing national examination after complaining of chest pains in Nairobi.
The 53-year-old was an examiner at one of the schools in the city.
The management at the school reported the incident happened on Sunday morning.
She was an examiner of the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
The deceased had complained of chest pains and was rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said the body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
The cause of the death is yet to be known. A team of police visited the scene as part of the probe into the incident.
