Duties and responsibilities
- taking oral dictation;
- word and data processing from manuscript;
- operating office equipment;
- ensuring security of office records;
- equipment and documents, attending to visitors/clients;
- handling telephone calls and appointments;

- supervision of office cleanliness; and
- Undertaking any other office administrative services duties that may be assigned.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C- (minus) with at least C (plain) in English or Kiswahili Language from a recognized institution;
- Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects:
- Typewriting II (40 w.p.m.)/Computerized Document Processing II
- Business English I/Communications I
- Commerce I
- Office Practice I
OR
- Craft Certificate in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council;
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting research and development;

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: –
- A Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science & Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Computing Science and Technology, Computer Security and Forensics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
- Experience working on Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, Python-PHP, bash scripting and-or PowerShell, Penetration Testing, etc. is imperative;
- Deployment of Cisco and-or Fortinet security solution will be an added advantage.

- Reporting to the Sub County Livestock Production Officer the duties and responsibilities will entail;-
- Preparing livestock technical information
- Providing technical advice in animal production, livestock marketing, range management, apiculture, and ranching; promoting economic livestock farming
- Participating in organizing extension activities which include field days, agricultural shows, field demonstrations, farmer field schools and farm visits
- Participating in collaborative research activities
